Almost all of my alts are very underwater in satoshi value... Stopped looking at them for now although tempted to pick up some EOS and maybe more XRP...

ignore that temptation. Yes EOS is likely to pick up. As are a bunch of others. Keeping an eye on a few others myself, golem in particular.

The temptation cost me dearly last year. I think almost 8-10 my current portfolio value. Had I just held... It is the most difficult thing ever.

I think it's you that mentioned preferring Uphold in recent times. Got an email from them this morning saying XRP is now available and for the first 5M (I presume that's million units rather than cost) purchased there will be no fees charged.

Downside is that until phase 2 (coming in a few weeks they say) there's no ability to transfer XRP to other wallets or addresses.

Regarding BTC price, it might even tank lower, toward $5k. Again don't fret. The Satoshi value of your alts will be the thing to watch.

Mark down on paper a chart something the Satoshi value you bought your alt at. Do it now.

I kmow its not a lot compared to others but I reckon Im down about $6000 on what I could have sold at.

I'm crap at timing the market. And thus don't try to. However having a plan is important, too many folks have told me to make this my top priority. The plan is what I'm sticking to.

Saying that. Im still not down (yet) on my BTC and alt purchases (just not $6K up!)

Im a few £ down on an eth tracking fund isa.

Couple of £K down on same eth tracking fund on pension. BUT, I did very well on BTC tracking fund on pension. Cashed out (or converted back to normal funds) £10K profit and I'm still about £1K up on what I left in.

Overall I reckon, cash wise (actual coins and ETH tracking ISA) Im probably still £500 up.

Pension wise - thanks to the BTC thing Im about £9K up. So can't complain.

Still wish I hadnt bought the ETH pension fund or ISA and had sold some more of my alts when they were at the top!
