One should never confuse patriotism (or any other form of sentiment) with business.
His heart is in the right place - shame we can't say the same about his brain...

Have you claimed R&D tax credits? If not, then you can claim for the last two years. The form is easy enough to fill in. I managed to get back 50% of my CT for the last two years.

I know a German guy who got €500k from the EU as an R&D grant. A mountain of paperwork to get the grant, he spent 5 years pissing it up the wall and then submitted 6 pages of results at the end. No questions were asked.

Because its very uncommon for IT contractors to be able to claim let alone recommend it like it's standard stuff.

What did you do for it?

                    Just ask Mr. Dyson
Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

OK. Well I developed a software product which I sell. I haven't had a contract for years as I have been earning my keep from the license sales from the software.

You couldn't claim R&D tax credits for "Contract work" obviously. But if you've created a "Thing" then you can.

I just had to submit a narrative describing the project, the technological advancements sought, project aims, project outcomes, details of the project spend ..... obviously you need to be able to demonstrate that you've actually spent cash on your project. And of course you cannot count "dividends" as money spent on a project .... but if you are genuinely spending cash building a product then R&D tax credits are available.

I would imagine that MajesticSEO would have no problems claiming.
