Tory taxcuts?

But you don't guarantee to do a certain amount of work for a fixed price, and they can terminate the contract so it's not even fixed price they way you claimOriginally posted by darmstadt View PostAren't all contracts fixed price? "We provide person A for this price for 6 months."

For one that has already not taken into account the basic factors, with regards to proper self employment (taking into account the allowances recieved by consultancy competition) I suggested should be considered in the first place, you sure have a lot of questionsOriginally posted by d000hg View Post
Yes but you only pay that on a portion of your income. How much dividend do you need to earn to be taxed more than in Germany, and how many people are in that category? And then, what is the German income tax and CT level for completeness?

Not if you're on a timesheet-based hourly or daily they're not. If the "work" overruns and the client wants to keep you on, they still have to continue paying the agreed rate. That's not the same as quoting £x for the total job, if you complete sooner you're a few £ up and if it takes longer you're a few £ down. (Totally unsuitable for the agency model, for obvious reasons even you should be able to grasp.Originally posted by darmstadt View PostAren't all contracts fixed price? We're talking about dividend taxes. Now you're playing the politician's trick of answering a question by turning the topic to something slightly different as distractionOriginally posted by MrMarkyMark View PostFor one that has already not taken into account the basic factors, with regards to proper self employment (taking into account the allowances recieved by consultancy competition) I suggested should be considered in the first place, you sure have a lot of questions
AtW claims a flat rate of 25% on dividends is better, I'm asking him to show his workings out. Also, AtW is comparable to the consultancies in this discussion, he's the guy running the company not a contractor or an employee.
Maybe AtW is just much richer than we give credit for, so that for him only the top rates of tax are important
