What a betrayal. The Brexit camp want more money for hospitals, social care etc. That was a core reason for leaving, as advertised by camp Wrexit. Now as we race to the bottom by cutting taxes we'll have even less money for a basic services.

This is a lesson that needs teaching, only when we reach the bottom of this protectionist bucket will we realise going it alone is not possible in a globalised world.

The fact is the Tory right is using Brexit to promote their own agenda of removing workers rights so they can make more profit.
What is this alternative model of which Hammond speaks?
Hint: It's not a better NHS, better education, better workers rights and higher wages, is it?

The Government has stated that all current EU rules etc would be adopted by the UK on leaving and then only overturned by Parliament at a later date. So the nonsense about worker rights can be dismissed out of hand.

Would staying in the single market under control of the ECJ and paying into the EU coffers mean we would have left the EU? I can't see how it would. Just desperation from the Remnant brigade.

The EU is starting to acknowledge we have the upper hand in negotiations. The IMF has upped it's forecast for us again. Other countries are being positive about us.
