That part of it is shocking like - you're made to feel like a criminal if anything goes wrong with the process.

Have you heard that one of the supermarket chains is bringing in technology to get an ID inprinted on your skin (like a human bar code) to scan you and the items as you walk out of the shops?! What type of moron would opt for that?!! I cant remember which chain it is, or how far along they are in the process.

Eww.... I have a choice of 3 delis nearby... lunch is something to savour... yum!

And I spend far too much time with machines anyway... much nicer to have some lovely young filly offering me her soup of the day....

I love those tills. The staff always just "continue" when you get an unexpected item in the bagging area problem. I've nicked a load of stuff thanks to that flaw.

Is it just me or is Tesco starting to be like OCP in Robocop:

did anyone read the article about some retailers group looking into inplanting customers with chips whihc would link to the bank cards so the customer can walk out with goods and just have the credit taken off as they come out the door..... no more tills...
I believe their is a club in spain where this is used for memebership and drinks purchases.

I think "implanted" is the wrong word. You are thinking of RFID and no not yet. Its far, far, far too expensive to put a RFID chip on everything.
