Sticking to ones principles deserves respect even if one disagrees with those principles - being a sell out, without principles - like Cons, that deserves contempt
When the facts change I change my mind.

The EU's principles are flawed just like their accounts. Worse than that they are trying to impose them on others who are unwilling. I'm all for respecting someone else's belief it has little or positive impact on mine. If they want to force them upon me they can go fly.

You have to make allowances for sasguru. Whenever he gets a sniff of real money he is like Basil Fawlty with Lord Melbury!!

        Missing the point yet again.
The point being that some provincial failure assumes so much about people he's never met or knows.
        Hard Brexit now!

Jealousy will get you nowhere. Better get some kneepads for your missus for Christmas, it might help her arthritis while she scrubs the kitchen floor.

Most people can afford a mop.

Sorry if that's the reason you are on your knees all the time, though going back to doing shifts for NLYUK might pay off your Christmas hamper debt.

                Ganz genau

The idiots and lining up to blame the EU for a process they triggered. It is becoming clear for expats like ourselves that our resident status will be secure, no thanks to the UK.

                What a mess.

EU is a club with rules - those eho don't like being a member should feck off after paying what's due - ex-members don't get to demand to bend rules to suit them outside of the club.

It is obvious that they HAVE to stick to it in order to save the club, that's why Brexit can only be hard, with massive costs mainly suffered by the very people who voted for it, the only pity is that majoriy of them won't understand it.

There is an opportunity to guarantee a formal of residency for ALL expats from all EU countries. NOW.

The UK is offering a deal but the EU is saying no.

Why doesn't it want security for its people? Surely they deserve to know their position.

I would expect the EU to put people before its moronic, socialist and federalist ideals.

                      Pathetic.
