I landed a contracting gig in the City after deciding to return to the UK. I am on a Debt Management Plan (DMP) in the UK for around 40k of card debt. As per my own credit checks, no CCJ. Also no VA. I only the DMP which does not show on 'public records', and so does not come up.
So, I am stressing about the credit check/screening done by the Big4 for, will I fail due to DMP and missed card payments? My research shows the standard checks only mine public records and would get stuck on CCJs. DMP does not feature on their radars.
I want to quit my current role and get back to the UK, but stress a little about this issue.
Thanks for any insight shared. You're awesome! Get yourself a t-shirt.Comment

which of the credit agencies hold data for up to 15yrs?.
I am trying to find 2 old credit cards details from 2002 with (halifax & barclays) that I might have had with PPI .... I understand the banks wont volunteer such details to reduce my chance of a claimComment

Each card issuer uses one of the 3 agencies and the other 2 do not hold details on what the others hold. Barclays likely uses Experian."You’re just a bad memory who doesn’t know when to go away" JRComment

Looks like dealers have got into the act too
Drug dealer Mark Slender jailed for selling cocaine, dealer took credit card payments | UK | News | Daily Express
Still at least his gear was "pure"
The police seized 56grams of cocaine, worth £5,800, and ranging in purity from 88% to 93%. It was one of the highest purity cocaine seizures in Gloucestershire in recent times.Last edited by MrMarkyMark; 8 November 2016, 14:31.The Chunt of Chunts.Comment
