Sounds like you will get on just fineOriginally posted by MarillionFan View PostLondon is just up the road, but I'm sticking to local stuff & something simple where I don't need to think much or actually be in charge. Not bothered about the rates anymore.
I'm not drawing up a list of companies / businesses I don't have experience in, but I am interested in, or need to get exposure to, to help Plan B.
.
So, you are going for a village idiots role, on a low rate, where you will be bobbing up and down on that corporate pole like a good'un.

There are a number of data related businesses I am interested, with the premise to offer services directly to corporate clients, or something around my favourite area of retail & distribution. I'm in no great rush to do anything, but don't fancy choking down the corporate pole, so a little light / short-term contracting is OK with me for now, while I work out how to make my next million quickly.Originally posted by MrMarkyMark View PostSounds like you will get on just fine

Ah, so trying to ascertain things you can offer them better, from observations gained from contracting within that particular business?Originally posted by MarillionFan View PostThere are a number of data related businesses I am interested, with the premise to offer services directly to corporate clients, or something around my favourite area of retail & distribution. Certainly, by all means, not an original idea, but a good way to ascertain gaps in your chosen markets.
Anyway, we work in similar fields, BI, data, BA etc. so if you need a true specialist to help you in the future

My ex-wife, on the other hand, found that the easiest one.
