Why didn't he just say that they were looking to pay £25 per hour and that would have been that.Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.

Because he wanted you CV so that he could fish through it for leads and then call your existing company up to ask if he could replace you as you are looking for work, etc
and £25/hour for a PM ??? I don't think a permie PM would work for that sort of money.....Comment

It's not a contract/freelance role at all then, they just can't get headcount approval for a permie. Mind you, I'm quite interested in the "inhalation of pharmaceuticals"...

Well done - I wouldn't work for that either.
It struck me when I read the ad that it was more of a permie role - 52 weeks long etc but wnated to know the rate as I know somebody who might be interested in the role, but I wasn't going to tell the pimp that.
