North of the river is fine. South of the river is garbage; the Overground is as reliable as Wilmslow in a six month contract. The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world that he didn't exist -
I could tell you why they don't make any money as I worked on their 'website' for a while. Best not to though as that's 'commercially sensitive'.East Coast trainsComment

Aren't they all north of the river? Last drove into town in 1995. Swore blind that I'd never, ever, ever, drive any closer than Lewisham, and let's face it, who goes to Lewisham?Originally posted by DaveB View PostDepends how close you can get by car or other means. The tubes go out a pretty long way. Amersham, Watford, Cheshunt, Epping are all posibilities coming from the NorthComment

I can attest to the fact that A+E at Lewisham is first class, but you wouldn't want to voluntarily go there either.Comment

Did you go there to have something removed from inside you after that session with AndyW's mum?Originally posted by NigelJK View PostI can attest to the fact that A+E at Lewisham is first class, but you wouldn't want to voluntarily go there either.Comment

I remember waiting for a train on the Gospel Oak / Barking line in my younger days - IIRC Silverlink ran the service and the trains were every 30 minutes. We waited a very long time and eventually the announcer said that the service was suspended, as the 14:00 train was missing, the 14:30 train had gone to look for it and not been heard from since and the 15:00 train wasn't going anywhere until it was established what had happened to the previous two.Originally posted by LondonManc View PostNorth of the river is fine. Actually given that the remit was 'copy Trainline but do it our way'. Was a tad difficult to point out to the marketing dept that's called plagiarism. So it's your fault it's tulip!Comment

I wouldn't want to go to any A+E voluntarily, regardless of where it is...Originally posted by NigelJK View PostI can attest to the fact that A+E at Lewisham is first class, but you wouldn't want to voluntarily go there either.______________________
