The reaction should be against the government, but they don't want to hear about it, which is why people take the law/situation into their own hands.

The referendum was the chance for a lot of folk to say how unhappy they are with the uncontrolled migration.

Tragically, since the definition of what constitutes a "hate crime" encompasses almost everything from "looking at me in a funny way" and "walking on the cracks on the pavement", this renders such statistics largely pointless.

Former England football hero Paul Gascoigne is being hauled before the courts for making a dodgy joke on stage. The ex-Spurs star allegedly made a ‘racist’ comment about a black member of security staff during his ‘An Evening With Gazza’ show in Wolverhampton last November.

This is the type of nonsense that the police and CPS are quite willing to pursue as a serious hate crime. It's not exactly a burning cross on the lawn.

When wolf whistling is considered a hate crime and you can anonymously report them online I don't see any relevance in quoting the numbers, they tell you nothing.

It's interesting because the 'joke' just implies that it would be harder to see dark objects than light objects in low level light conditions. Which is a fact.

And if you put something light markings on the dark item it will be easier to see in low level light conditions. Which is also a fact.

Nowhere does it imply that someone with dark skin had less value than someone with light skin.

Which would be fine if you were doing that. But you're not. You are expressing yourself in the same way as hate-filled xenophobes do towards Muslims and Islam. And you use the same kind of language in this thread, which has nothing to do with religion.
