There was a Chevette 2300 for sale on ebay the other day for ridiculous money.

The inverted bell curve of car prices - provided they don't all end up in the scrappy first. Cars that between 10 - 15 years offer eye watering value, so long as you can find one in okay nick.

My dad had the Sierra GLS - couldn't get the Cosworth on the company car list unsurprisingly! Very nice motor for the time. He test drove the equivalent Cavalier at the time and it was pants by comparison.

Agree with all those except the TT. It's a cut down Beetle.

(But the R8 and Tesla are a tad over the £10k mark second hand)

Sorry I missed that bit.

TT is one of those cars, people either love them or hate them. The MK1 was actually based on the Golf/A3 platform. It was a cool car, having a very eye catching design, 4WD and torquey turbo engine. Interior was stunning for it's day.
