Attack in French Church
France church attack: Priest killed in hostage taking near Rouen - BBC News
Please do the needful, and merge, incase we upset the hand wringing liberal CUK readership.A priest has been killed in an attack by two armed men at his church near Rouen in northern France, police and French media have said.
The armed men entered the church in Saint-Etienne-du-Rouvray during mass, taking the priest, two nuns and several churchgoers hostage, reports said.
French TV said shots had been heard after police arrived at the scene. Both hostage-takers are now dead.
The area has been cordoned off and police have told people to stay away.
At least one person is receiving medical treatment for injuries.
There was no immediate indication of the identity or motive of the hostage-takers, but France has been on high alert since the Bastille Day attack in Nice earlier this month, when an attacker ploughed a lorry into celebrating crowds, killing more than 80 people.Comment

It's OK, according to your normal source at least one of them was wearing "Islamic" clothing...

(or maybe dressed as a monk/nun)
According to French media, the priest was 86. The Daily Fail has him at 92.…Maybe we ain’t that young anymoreComment

Does it take IS to nail a flag to your head before you wake up an realise what's happening?
Maybe they were right wing white extremists dressed up as Muslims?Comment

Oh, further update, according to Le Point, one of the attackers shouted "Daesh" as he ran into the church.
...isn't Daesh the name that IS don't like because they see it as an insult?
Oh, yes, according to another rag...

You should get a job at the BBC.
Yesterday the BBC headline for the suicide bomber in Germany was "Syrian Migrant killed in German blast". Can you see how the left wing press is spinning all these Islamic attacks?
