Situation is that they have a clause allowing them to terminate the contract with my umbrella if its less than a week. Why the contract went south was not in any way related to the quality of my work. All I got was that I made the client feel uncomfortable end client was a university.Originally posted by MrMarkyMark View PostA slight concern is the OP is looking to be paid, just for one day.
A question to be asked, is why he was only there one day, quoted work for just the one day or...?Comment

Being a good contractor isn't just about the quality of your work I'm afraid. I'm not sure how they get an insight of the quality of it in just one day though.Originally posted by AttentivIS View PostSituation is that they have a clause allowing them to terminate the contract with my umbrella if its less than a week. That is now back on and my CV is over for it.Originally posted by MrMarkyMark View PostThat's unfortunate, sounds like you should chalk it up to experience and move on.Comment
