I'd pick the team from the Championship. They'd have had more games and be hungrier to prove themselves.

Like this lot?Originally posted by WTFH View PostFor England to become a half decent team they need to have more of their players playing at a top level and they need to have players who are proud and honoured to play for their country.
Too much money in the game.
1 GK Wayne Hennessey Crystal Palace
12 GK Owain Fôn Williams Inverness Caledonian Thistle
21 GK Danny Ward Liverpool
2 DF Chris Gunter Reading
3 DF Neil Taylor Swansea City
4 DF Ben Davies Tottenham Hotspur
5 DF James Chester West Bromwich Albion
6 DF Ashley Williams Swansea City
15 DF Jazz Richards Fulham
19 DF James Collins West Ham United
7 MF Joe Allen Liverpool
8 MF Andy King Leicester City
10 MF Aaron Ramsey Arsenal
14 MF David Edwards Wolverhampton Wanderers
16 MF Joe Ledley Crystal Palace
17 MF David Cotterill Birmingham City
20 MF Jonathan Williams Crystal Palace
22 MF David Vaughan Nottingham Forest
9 FW Hal Robson-Kanu Unattached
11 FW Gareth Bale Real Madrid
13 FW George Williams Fulham
18 FW Sam Vokes Burnley
23 FW Simon Church Milton Keynes Dons
Majority play for mid table teams at best. I'd say giving a tulip is the more important factor.Comment

Giving a tulip is the number one attribute they need - the desire and pride to keep running and fighting for every ball when it would be easier to give up - I did not see that attitude from an England player at all.....Originally posted by barrydidit View PostLike this lot?

Individually they are great.Originally posted by MrMarkyMark View PostThe problem is they have all been tulip for as long as I can remember
Their pay must be linked to England performance.
People quote 1966 as last time England were good, but they did wonderfully in Mexico in 1970. Without that food bug they would have won.
It was 1974 against Poland that did for us. Their goalkeeper was described as a clown. Well look who is laughing now.....Comment

It is no coincidence that England's performance has been in decline since 1973 when the UK joined the EU.
Wales winning Euro 2016 will put an end to the curse, and we'll be out of the EU shortly after.

Wales != England.
It is an insult to any home nation to state that they are the same."You’re just a bad memory who doesn’t know when to go away" JRComment

England's performance has been in decline since 1966, just cause it doesn't suit your argument doesn't make it false.…Maybe we ain’t that young anymoreComment

All still part of the UK so my theory still stands.
