Sturgeon is hated in England. She is the Scottish equivalent of Farage but instead of being anti European, she is anti English.Comment

And the SNP are seen as being more authentically left than Labour, or at least the PLP.
The SNP are NOT hated. The English generally like the Scots and respect their patriotism and desire for independence. A feeling which is not reciprocated by the Scots to the English. Some people dislike the SNP for sticking their oar in "England's business" but they are the people who actually pay attention to the news i.e. a small minorityOriginally posted by MaryPoppinsI'd still not breastfeed a naziOriginally posted by vetranUrine is quite nourishingComment

SNP (the nationalistic part aside) comes across as being far more authentic and grounded than the PLP. For that matter, most of the Scottish political leaders seem better than ours.Originally posted by MaryPoppinsI'd still not breastfeed a naziOriginally posted by vetranUrine is quite nourishingComment

Or are you pulling "facts" out of your arse?Comment

I can sort of see an argument whereby "some" English voters might be tempted to vote SNP if it meant getting rid of the whining Jock types permanently (i.e. through indyref 2,3 or whatever). Other than that, the SNP have no relevance in England, and they know it.His heart is in the right place - shame we can't say the same about his brain...Comment

I've heard both views from different people.
Also Edinburgh is far nearer the NE of England than London."You’re just a bad memory who doesn’t know when to go away" JRComment
