They are quite popular and Sturgeon is well respected; both in particular by Corbyn fans. As an alternative to Labour when then cheat Corbyn out of his leadership, SNP could do well - the NE in particular will be VERY upset if JC gets pushed out and will be looking for a protest vote.

Corbyn fans are the hard left.

Sturgeon is hated in England. She is the Scottish equivalent of Farage but instead of being anti European, she is anti English.

And the SNP are seen as being more authentically left than Labour, or at least the PLP.

The SNP are NOT hated. The English generally like the Scots and respect their patriotism and desire for independence. A feeling which is not reciprocated by the Scots to the English. Some people dislike the SNP for sticking their oar in "England's business" but they are the people who actually pay attention to the news i.e. a small minority

They may well be "upset" but they'd have to be seriously unhinged to vote SNP.

More so than to vote UKIP? More so than to vote Leave in protest?

SNP (the nationalistic part aside) comes across as being far more authentic and grounded than the PLP. For that matter, most of the Scottish political leaders seem better than ours.

How good of you to speak for an entire nation. I'm sure you have the research to back up all of your claims about how all English people feel.

Or are you pulling "facts" out of your arse?

I can sort of see an argument whereby "some" English voters might be tempted to vote SNP if it meant getting rid of the whining Jock types permanently (i.e. through indyref 2,3 or whatever). Other than that, the SNP have no relevance in England, and they know it.

                  What's the problem?

I've heard both views from different people.

Also Edinburgh is far nearer the NE of England than London.

And Siberia is closer than Australia, but which do we celebrate more when we beat them at cricket? I know what you're thinking, ridiculous post, but no more ridiculous than yours.
