Naughty Ruskies get suspended disqualification

There was indeed no trouble, but only because Arse fans were only allowed to travel on specially chartered planes, get bussed in, and bussed straight out again. They were probably in Moscow for about 6 or 7 hours at most, as I later found out. The problems I referred to, if you read my post again carefully, were with Chelsea fans previously, who had booked independent flights and hotels, and were left at the mercy of the Moscow police - who did feck all to protect them. His heart is in the right place - shame we can't say the same about his brain... -
Correct - expect the Russian horde to be on their best behaviour INSIDE, but I wouldn't want to be anywhere near Lille tomorrow or Thursday...Originally posted by AtW View PostThat's because Arsenal lost
Conditional disqualification ONLY if problems kick out inside the stadium.
For the uninitiated, Russia are playing in Lille, and that's where ticketless England and Wales fans have been told to go, because Lens (where they play on Thursday) is so small, the population could fit into the stadium and there'd still be empty seats. And it's the smallest stadium in the tournament. Lille is seriously going to look like Baghdad come Friday...Well done UEFA. Still, maybe we can team up with the Welsh, and give the Commies a right good kicking. Hope springs eternal...His heart is in the right place - shame we can't say the same about his brain...Comment

Seen it all in Football and pretty hardened to it all.... but if I had made travel plans to go to Lille I would be fast changing them....

Can we not just send MF there to sort the problem out? Doesn't he say that he is specialised in such surreal stuff?Originally posted by Mordac View PostCorrect - expect the Russian horde to be on their best behaviour INSIDE, but I wouldn't want to be anywhere near Lille tomorrow or Thursday...

Believe me, what MF says, and what he's capable of, are usually complete strangers to each other...Originally posted by FatLazyContractor View PostCan we not just send MF there to sort the problem out? Doesn't he say that he is specialised in such surreal stuff?

Yes, and his first name is Kitty. I think his parents must have been Beatrix Potter fans.Originally posted by FatLazyContractor View PostCan you confirm that his surname is Mitty? His heart is in the right place - shame we can't say the same about his brain...Comment
