The Type 26's are on the way. Expected to be in service by the mid-2020's. Thank the current government for delaying the program even longer due to cut backs. Yet there's still money for HS2 fantasy projects etc yawn etc

Not moaning. I'm making a point. The UK does not know how to protect it's borders. Does not even try that hard.

Are you telling us that there is border control for entry into Switzerland from, say, Germany ?
Yep, I got stopped recently (*) and they asked if I was bringing any money into the country. I replied yes and showed them the whole €80 that I had on me. My colleague in the office here, an Irishman who lives in Zürich and commutes each week doesn't get stopped that often though. I also have to fill out customs papers when taking things like servers into Switzerland...

(Interestingly enough all the other cars that got stopped had UK number plates)

Rather than send 1000's of £££££ to Brussels and have cowboy wars like in Iraq, Britain should look inwards and improve the country from Policing to health and schools,Brexit it is for me

Being an island nation, the government at the time decided we didn't need a long range search and rescue capability so broke them up for scrap. s
Those were the hugely overtime and over budget MRA4 airframes. But the 2's were also scrapped/sold.

                  Therefore they are migrants.

With 3 more Iranians reported today "Three Iranian migrants rescued from a boat in the Channel, Wed Jun 8" looks like this route into the UK is ramping up.

Economic Migrant Guide To Sea Based Entry Into The UK
                    1) 'Set sail' for the UK from the French coast (boat must be a sea worthy vessel or dinghy able to reach UK waters)
                    2) When in UK waters, contact UK authorities claiming 'vessel in distress'
(call 999) and wait for pick-up by RNLI/Border Force cutter - you'll always be taken immediately to the UK. You've made it !!
                    3) When questioned immediately claim political asylum. If threated with deportation claim either:
                    a) "my right to a family life" - will require the name/address of a brother/cousin etc. who has previously illegally entered.
                    b) "I've converted to Christianity, I'll be persecuted if deported back to my home country"
                    c) "I'm Gay, I'll be persecuted if deported back to my home country"

Enjoy the free benefits, free NHS, free housing, free schooling offered - milk those suckers !
