What still surprises me though is why anyone in their right mind agrees to be profiled by a national newspaper regarding their finances.

People are too embarrassed to talk to their doctor about a problem with their genitals.

Yet are happy to go on embarrassing bodies and show them to 4 million strangers.

Once again, more education needed.

Lots of people on embarrassing bodies have already been to their GP who hasn't helped.

For example there was a guy on with a fistula whose GP thought it was OK to leave him using sanitary pads.

Others just want free cosmetic surgery.

And others want to get on the telly...

These people think they are "normal".

They don't understand what average e.g median or mode incomes are.

I've seen this in real life. When someone I know was shocked how little a teacher with lots of experience and the same qualifications as them earned.

I have just over 80k and I make sure 50-60k of it is saved , rest is "blown" on mortgage and little rest life

If I had to pay for anything beyond that, like private schools and what not , that would have to come from investments or passive income , otherwise "I can't afford"

This country need finances education.

I earn in excess of 200k pa and certainly do not feel rich. After pensions and et all, you're only really clearing 10/11k per month. Few holidays, car etc and it's not exactly a fortune is it.i don't send the kids private, but if I did the anything I save would most likely disappear.

First class travel ain't cheap you know.
