http://forums.contractoruk.com/gener...ts-abroad.html . From what I read, the UK might have some teething troubles. And raw materials would be an issue.

I would like the UK to build their own cars, and their own nuclear power stations.

Not every country is as stable as the UK. I don't like being dependent on unstable countries.

      Sovereignty

Ok, this is an area which I think could be improved on, but given that we the UK are the only country that takes EU laws seriously why should we just not pick and choose the EU laws we want to adhere to, how many billions of euro fines did France simply ignore when they decided that EU laws were not in their interest. I would like to see a UK Bill Of Rights, as I think ECHR has too much say, but I do not see that happening very quickly post BREXIT.
Sighs. Stuff like this sadly sums up what a crap job Vote Leave have done so far.

Just on the Sovereignty point which really lies at the heart of the matter. We cannot 'pick and choose' the EU laws. EU Law takes precedence over National (UK) laws. This is enforced by the European Court of Justice.

EUROPA - Court of Justice (CJEU) - The EU institutions explained
Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU)

Role: Ensuring EU law is interpreted and applied the same in every EU country; ensuring countries and EU institutions abide by EU law

The Court of Justice interprets EU law to make sure it is applied in the same way in all EU countries, and settles legal disputes between national governments and EU institutions.
The constitutional right of the ECJ to overrule national governments was established well before the UK even joined the European Community. See below

      https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Costa_v_ENEL
Flaminio Costa v ENEL (1964) Case 6/64 was a landmark decision of the European Court of Justice which established the supremacy of European Union law over the laws of its member states'.[1]

Do you know Article 42 of the Treaty of the European Union?

Have you heard of the European Defence Initiative?

Do you know about SAFE (Synchronised Armed Force Europe)?

                  Nothing new here....
Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.
