What have we got to sell that China and India would want?
Is he aware the Chinese economy isn't very healthy at the moment?
Is he aware that 3/4 of Indians are still desperately poor and live at subsistence level?

It's amazing that you can scoff at that quote about the "failing economies of Europe", which aren't growing at all in fact shrinking in many cases, and in the same breath denigrate the Chinese economy, which despite its problems is still growing at 6 or 7 percent per annum. Don't you see the illogicality and inconsistency there?

The fact is just about every economy is currently in the doldrums, but many are doing a lot better relatively speaking than EU countries. So why should be tied to the latter?

Also, 3/4 of Indians may be poor but that still leaves 1/4, i.e. getting on for 300 million, who aren't.

No one believes the Chinese growth figures, least of all the Chinese.
They've got massive problems not least a GDP/Debpt ratio of 260%.
The Chinese economy is about to unravel.
