Watched some of his speech and its a crazy mix of far left and far right rhetoric. Promising everyone everything if they have not been locked up yet.

Donald Trump says French and Germans to face 'extreme vetting' entering the US
Donald Trump has suggested terror attacks in France and Germany were their "own fault" and citizens of the countries could now be subject to "extreme vetting" entering the United States. Mr Trump said the two European nations had been "totally compromised by terrorism" because they had "allowed people in".
The Republican presidential nominee, who has threatened to introduce punitive import taxes, also said America could pull out of the World Trade Organisation if he is president. He said: "We'll renegotiate or pull out. These trade deals are a disaster. The World Trade Organisation is a disaster."
That will prove popular with a lot of Americans.....Comment

Some friends of mine visited (distant) family in California recently. These Californians were convinced the whole of Europe was crawling with Muslims bent on the destruction of western civilisation, and were astounded at the bravery/foolishness of my friends for travelling around Europe and for making a transatlantic flight. I reckon this view is probably quite widely held and Trump will reap the benefits of playing up to it.Comment

That's what I had been thinking.Originally posted by zeitghostOne might think that there's some sort of conspiracy to deal with the possibility that a lunatic gets himself elected by the hoi polloi.
I couldn't possibly comment.
It's like in Demolition Man when they unfreeze Sylvester Stallone to deal with Wesley Snipes again.Comment
