After the protests over the CUK budget it was bound to happen.
CUK subscriptions tied to the cretinism of the post? An extra £5 levy on sockies? 1% extra on golden radiators? Stain proof sofas to be made compulsory?
At least the rumour of the tax on gladiator costumes did not come about. But it was not enough to save him.
