Nope, the answer is a little more complex ... but not much more.

In the UK we have a large black market allowing unregistered people to work and earn good money. Most migrants know some English so the UK is always going to be an easier place to work on said black market.

France has a similar situation when it comes to migrants who have traveled from countries where French is the native language. I guess it's all the 'benefits' of being colonial nations and forcing our language onto the natives

David Cameron's speech in 2015 urged parliament to support the bombing of Syria. He claimed there were 400,000 Syrian "rebels" who need UK arms ans support. Those rebels turned out to be ISIS. Your Tory mates caused much of the refugee problems.
