Brexit: how do you think the UK will vote?

Because there will be no status quo. If we vote in then it will be taken as full acceptance of the EU "project" and all Cameron's assurances will mean nothing.Originally posted by d000hg View PostHow can it be catastrophic not to change anything? This is about sovereignty and the ability to control our own borders. Everything else is fluff.Leave a comment:

Isn't that picture more of a depiction of the agent/contractor relationship?Originally posted by darmstadt View PostLike this:

The problem is we don't have any control over which ones we get. Australia for example has pretty tough immigration rules based on:Originally posted by darmstadt View PostLike this:

1. Age
2. Education
3. Skills and work history
4. Criminal checks to prevent known criminals
5. Health checks to prevent health tourism and spread of disease
6. Sponsorship for work
7. Minimum amount of money to bring in (held in a govt bond) incase they fall on hard times
All we ask as a country and fair minded people, is that we in the UK can apply the above rules to anyone wanting to settle here. Simple as. Those that meet the requirements are more than welcome here and get our full support.
Under non elected EU rule we get what we are given, and there's nothing we can do about it.Leave a comment:

The immigrants take jobs our own feckless would rather dodge in favour of benefits. Benefits we can't afford that put us into debt.
Always an excuse. The day we take responsibility the moon will turn blue.

Now it's the immigrants fault!Originally posted by BrilloPad View PostCrippling debt is partly a result of high house prices due to immigrants. Though there are other factors.
