The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world that he didn't exist

No need to match on Moscow.

The West can and should use real sanctions - embargo on oil sales, turn off SWIFT payments, start arresting rich friends of Putin who bought EPL football clubs.

Also, very important to help Ukrainian Army get lethal weapons - anti-tank equipment is very much necessary as Putin put more tanks into Donbass than UK, German and France got combined.

How fortunate for governments that the people they administer don't think

We interfere and tulipstir in their back garden and expect the bear to not get miffed?

anyone who falls for the whipping up of anti ruski feeling in the same time frame as we are about to discuss renewal of a nuclear deterrent is a total cabbage.

It's nearly spring, plenty of gas will be coming from USA - who can manage longer: West without Russian gas supplies, or Russia without 90% of foreign currency earnings?

What back garden, Ukraine where Russia invaded, annexed part of territory like it did in Georgia in 2008 and nobody in West did fook all about it?

Russia was flying bombers around Britain for many years now, and recently they simulated nuclear attack on Sweden (neutral country).

If West wasn't ignoring warning signs over the last 15 years then Putin would have been 10 years into serving his life sentence in Hague for war crimes in Chechnya.
