You've all heard the stories of those that have had heart transplants and learn a new skill or trade following surgery that was a trait that belonged to the donor? The idea being tissue surrounding the heart is similar to that of the brain.

The particular case was of this chap who learned to play the violin after a heart transplant. Never before in his life did the desire to play a musical instrument enter his mind. It was only after some time came to pass they realised the donor learned to play since a child.

Damn that is creepy. At least there's a basis for those horror films where the recipient of a hand transplant from a recently executed killer becomes a serial killer themselves...
