The wonders of a 4 day week

2 weeks into my "dream gig" as I put it previously.

Going great and there are certainly some dream aspects to it. One of the best things about it was my decision to request 4 days a week. Sure I've taken a hit on pay but it makes the week a lot more balanced and has probably increased my work productivity. Also gives me time and energy to properly think about Plan B. Most of all it got me thinking on how we have been conditioned to think working 5 days is a natural thing and a must. Wouldn't 4 vs 3 give us a much greater work/life/family balance?
