All those posts, graphs and links about boomers, for nothing
Maybe I don't have 100k from BOMAD to sink as a deposit.

      Nor do I.
Also, I'm a lot older, don't own my own house and don't moan about it.

      You should try it

You mean gobble up with gusto the scraps dropped from the boomer table. FTS.

Actually a good time to sell. Unless you're living on the flood planes!

More viewers is not immer a good thing. Fewer are actually more serious about taking it forward less likely to waste your time.

No, I meant stop moaning about it.

Also, as I have said before, your view / outlook is very narrow.
You could get a house abroad, it does not have to be in the UK.
I am strongly thinking of doing so myself.

Nothing wrong with being in the buy to let game, just don't complain if taxation changes mean that you're not receiving as much free money as before.

It's a blacksmiths cottage isn't it? sounds lovely.
In London, from 1989 on, the market did not go down. Unlike the rest of the country.

But now. Prices can only go up up up.

Call me a bigot if you like, but you won't change my views on boomers.

Have applied for overseas gigs - but not landed one yet.

Yes, but I'm not a boomer, either.
I just get on with my life, if that involves moving abroad, so be it.

I have looked at a 3 bed, 3 floor, canal side, centrally located, town house, in Amsterdam, for example.
It has 2 terraces, one going the full length of the property, the other behind.
                    Works out at under £550K.

I would think it is. Just got off the plane to find Id been gazumped on our repo property by an extra £30k higher than me.

                      Oh well.
