    It was put there when the place was first built, it's job to kill all the rodents. Once they were all dead, it died too. Wouldn't be allowed today, but very effective.
    Well I never, I've been past there a good few times in my life.

    Ironically now I no longer have a cat (I inherited one) I don't ever get them coming into the house itself. It was the cat food that attracted them.

      Saw them years ago when they first started and seeing them again soon:

      Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.
