This thread's just an excuse to air nimby-ism.

Could be true, I have to admit I don't like the idea of people on benefits, loads of sprogs moving onto a nice road. Lots of people on here working hard to afford it.

This. If the parents flat was already let out, and the rental arrangement with son is no different, he will be able to claim housing benefit.
