If you think NATO is going to get involved in a conflict with Russia over Turkey you're more deluded than I thought."Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience". Mark Twain -

Yes, the treaty clearly states that "all members will practice collective defense, except when one member is threatened (for apparently defending their borders), in which case they should be expelled immediately".Originally posted by scooterscot View PostIf you think NATO is going to get involved in a conflict with Russia over Turkey you're more deluded than I thought.

Why, just for a few seconds!!!!!! Invade it's not the correct word.
Is Russia a threat? No
Turkey stays with NATO to fight against ISIS? ???? I have my doubts
If it's true, why they didn't escort the plane out from their air space.
Turkey should be expelled from NATO.Comment

It's complicated the whole NATO thing as Hollande with Obama at the moment and off to Moscow later this week. France and Russia are already cooperating against ISIS and they are NATO as well
I don't think anyone is really up for WW3 apart from the nutters in the pentagon. Those closer to the proposed battlefield might have other ideas. Why don't they just round up all the neocons put them on an island somewhere and let them play battle royale - the world would be a much safer place..."Is someone you don't like allowed to say something you don't like? If that is the case then we have free speech."- Elon MuskComment

They like flying over US, British, Swedish, Canadian etc air space for the fun of it.Originally posted by Bee View PostWhy, just for a few seconds!!!!!! Invade it's not the correct word.
Is Russia a threat? YES
Turkey has a war on it's borders unlike the other countries Russia likes to invade the air space of. We also know what happened in the Ukraine, Egypt, France, Mali etc. So if you ask a few times, the pilots don't identify themselves, apologise and get the f*** out they deserve what they get.Originally posted by Bee View PostTurkey stays with NATO to fight against ISIS? ???? Yes it's true that Russia use to play with the others air space from all countries of NATO but no member shooted, was escorted and it's the correct procedure.Comment
