Even if it was, I would prefer an international war trial like Nuremburg. And I would like Tony Blair(Iraq) and Angela Merkel(Greece) to be tried ahead of Moscow.

You can't argue with the first part of that, however you can't exclude Russia from any blame as they were supporting the separatists in Crimea.

Anyway, it's missing the point that the Russians have had an aeroplane full of innocent people blown out of the sky shortly after they themselves blew an aeroplane full of innocent people out of the sky.

Russia hasn't blown a plane out of the sky. Not lately anyway and that was Soviets.

So if you supply advanced missile technology and it is used (presumably they would need also require technical assistance to set-up and operate the equipment (Russian advisers?)) that does not make Russia culpable?

Rewind to Maidan and deliberate destabilisation of the Ukrainian gov and Victoria Nuland's comments and attempts to whoo them away from Russia with EU carrots just to piss off Putin.
