create multiple profile with similar skills set and some made up working history and connect with EVERYONE on them
on your main account say something like "im up for a contract, looking to expand my network!"
like your post on every other profile.
if pimps contact your fake profile say you are working, but your mate , which is very good and can recommend him, doesn't and direct them to yourself...
