Interesting from d000hg about the rent/buy mess. Not good news. I would go Netflix but I'm more interested in recent (ish) films.Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.
No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.Comment

I get lumped in with the Apple Fanboi crew, but as I am an über-geek I should align with the Android boys.
And I do for dicking around, AIX 7.2 out soon, but when I just want something to work and not have to act as unpaid home IT support, Apple wins every time. It just works...Comment

Kit isn't anything spectacular to look at compared to other offerings.
Kit is very ordinary in functionality terms.
Too much iTunes integration and I've never liked their tracking behaviour.
Subscription price is absurd.
I'm not an Anti-fanboi, I just have never seen a reason to treat Apple as if they're worthy of any special regard.
The argument that Apple has become a form of religion with acolytes worshipping at the altar of anything with a logo does have a lot of validity.Comment
