I had no great challenge to understand the thread meaning, the literacy of the poster on the other hand meant I had to down shift my brain to the level of a 6 year old though.
The sensible answer to the original question is how is your appetite for long payment terms and risk of non payment? If the terms being offered aren't palatable then either negotiate better ones or walk away. Not complicated and really if you struggle to understand that without help then are you certain contracting is a great idea?
