Fine thanks it hasn't changed my opinion of SY01 at all and just clarified it on NAT, I didn't do what you do and rush off and create a sockie to post with though. How's your numerous permabans on all your other utterly pathetic troll ID's?

You claim to drive one of those and then call yourself a contractor?

Oh by the way your posting styles are inconsistent the persona that you're not a UK national has slipped a few times, but you're just as much of an illiterate on this ID as you were on the Russell/Kandr etc. ones.

Thing is anyone with a brain knows that a car with a 74hp engine will not get even close to those figures with 4 12+ stone people in it doing stop start city driving

Nor will it be able to happily cruise along the motorway at 70 and return anywhere near those figures...

true, and i did check real mpg figures before the purchase and wasnt as 'disapointed' as i would if i haven't checked.
The problem is that the difference between 91 and 58 means they claim to do 63% more miles than it actually does. I think its a big problem
as if they were selling 3ghz processor with real speed of 2ghz, but that "depends" what soft you are currently are using. "In our testing program it does 3ghz but anyone with brain shouldn't expect that"

You really are as stupid as you appear, that's impressive.

There's every likelihood that Seat can "prove" the 92 MPG claimed for that vehicle, with it sat on a rolling road in a temperature controlled chamber, with no load, no driver, no passengers, nothing in the car like a spare wheel or even fuel past 2 litres. It will be run by computer control having been brought to perfect operating temperature then run at a totally optimal speed, not forgetting it will have perfectly clean lubricants and no wear from use. No hills, traffic or inconvenient road stuff that causes acceleration and braking.

Driving down an actual road is so far from optimal testing conditions that you really have to be astoundingly dim to believe the numbers published by someone with an agenda like say the MANUFACTURER!!!

                  Clarkson:
Well, mathematicians at Greenpeace have calculated that by ignoring the rules VW has murdered 1,700 people. But that’s rubbish because about 60% of manmade NOX emissions do not come from road transport, and of the 40% that do, the vast majority are from lorries and buses. So in the big scheme of things, your neighbour’s Golf diesel makes no discernible difference.
Ah, good old Jeremy. We can laugh it off because its only a small % of the whole.

Quick fact check: Greenpeace used an EU heath impact assessment based on the extra Nox emitted due to the discrepency between test and real world figures. The non-vehicular emissions are mainly from power stations, which push them out of a tall chimney usually away from population centres, cars emit on the road, in cities, next to pushchairs. Big difference, and cars are around 20% of emissions, the rest being taxis and buses and lorries. Not sure if 80% is 'a vast majority'

My subconscious is annoying. It's got a mind of its own.

A ratio of 4:1? It's not a totally absurd word to use in that context. 52% wouldn't be, neither would 60%. I agree the word is used excessively but with 80% it's not inappropriate.
