Oh I see AtW, you get that well known eccentic threaded do to the postings for you!

Is it me or is threaded a mix between Bill Gates, The mad professor from the Back to the Future Films & The Pilsbury Doughboy(or whatever it was)?
What happens in General, stays in General.
You know what they say about assumptions!

No, Threaded is just "The Pilsbury Dough Boy" - nothing more, nothing less.

Give her nothing whatsoever. Resorting to simply giving her cash is a very patronising gesture that undermines her status as a true equal. No, let her keep the Family Allowance in order that she might retain some dignity, but do not embark on a carousel of handouts as it is time consuming, tawdry, and prohibitively expensive.

          The fair way...

Work out the family budget, agree with your wife what is non-discretionary spending, e.g. Mortgage, Utility Bills, Cost of food you eat together, your travel to work, Pension contributions, etc. Divide what remains in two; half for you, half for her. Each party can then spend (or save) as you want to and is free to make sacrifices to have the money spend on (extra)beer/shoes.

But why are you letting her give up work?!

That is all very well for anti-social people like yourself who insist on over-populating this planet.

But doesn't work for infertile people like you that can't keep it up long enough to propagate your genes eh?

There you go again making assumptions.

Infertility and PED are completely different issues.

                I suffer from neither.

What I do have though that you seem to lack, is the intelligence to know the difference between the two.

So your rather unnatural decision not to have children of your own can simply be put down to your own selfish personal material needs then? Okay, glad we've cleared THAT up.

Well obviously there is a difference between the two, however that is not to say you could not be afflicted by both conditions. You certainly come across on here as someone who might well be.
