A friend of mine is currently installing a whole house system using loxone. He has around 40 lighting circuits in the house and they will all be dimmable. Should be up and running by October so I'll be interested in seeing the result.

But I can use a lightswitch and boil a kettle so not sure of the value.

Having said that I am getting the kitchen done soon and will probably put in one of them things that gives you boiling water on tap.

We got them at work and they seem pretty useful anyone got any views on them??

One could say the same kind of thing about electric kettles which turn off once they're boiled "I can just turn the hob off" but they are convenient - so I guess it's little things here and there rather than a revolution.
