There is huge debt to be repaid, and we are still in deficit. How would you make up the shortfall?

So people can't afford to buy or pass the lending criteria and now rental prices will go up to compensate. Excellent....

Yeah, of course until you realise the government will continually redefine who is "wealthy" to plug any funding gaps it creates.

What debt are you referring to? If you mean the country's deficit, you need some Economics 101, it is not like your current account.

Edit: BTW Osborne knows that, he appears to be rabidly in favour of eliminating the deficit, but ISTM that what he is actually after is eliminating the State.

Indeed, you can just tell the creditors to feck off, implicitly by inflating away, and some will still be stupid/desperate enough to come asking for more...

I was referring to the national debt, which is massive, and rising.

The state serves the rich. How many old Etonians are in The Cabinet.

I think it all boils down to a lack of vision. The country has nothing it is working towards, nothing to strive for.

This is where some socialism could really help. A vision, a plan, training, a workforce, delivery.

Presently, everyone is out for themselves, fighting amongst themselves whilst 'the gods', the '1%ers' just watch and laugh.

              Go Corbyn [emoji106]🏾

You require the government in order to have a vision or plan? Why not just pay someone to plan out your life for you, in that case, and leave the rest of us free of it?

I want Corbyn to go one step further and confiscate all properties that are BTL and nationalise them. That way councils will again get the houses they need and the poor and needy will have a safe and secure roof again.
Vote Corbyn ! Save this country !
