Don't get me startedrefuse on principal to consider any role advertised by the mob across the ocean, would rather deal with Dodgy than a load of Bobs...
Same here.Actually had something similar years ago, thinking about it now.
Had my CV given to a contracting mate in the same field. Supplied as some kind of example as to what his CV should look like.
Name was removed but my mate recognised the CV.Last edited by MrMarkyMark; 19 August 2015, 16:20.The Chunt of Chunts.Comment

^ This. Nothing racist about it, but the rates and service and security aspect (please send a copy of bank statements, passport etc to secure this role) means they can FOAD.Originally posted by SlipTheJab View PostI refuse on principal to consider any role advertised by the mob across the ocean, would rather deal with Dodgy than a load of Bobs...
This industry is ****ed as it is, without Bob agencies lowering rates and pissing off clients with terrible service.
PS. Can you imagain a Bob agency placing Suity to a client. Jeez what a combo....Comment

Exactly. Also love the Linked In connection requests where they give their company email in a way so that they don't have to pay LI any money 'bob (at) bobmail (dot) com'. While asking you to not click on the 'i do not know this person' link, I mean come on, do you really think I am going to send you my CV?Comment

And all the roles advertised in LI end in "....so why not apply to it?" - poor grammar. And some are from what look like UK based fit women agents.....Originally posted by SlipTheJab View PostExactly. That's a scam I have been worried about. Basically as far as possible I would prefer to send CV's to known agents or directly to clients.Originally posted by MrMarkyMark View PostSame here.

Out of interest, how do you distinguish between the two?Originally posted by SlipTheJab View PostI refuse on principal to consider any role advertised by the mob across the ocean, would rather deal with Dodgy than a load of Bobs...

To be fair to Suity it would probably be an improvement on their usual body shopped contractorsOriginally posted by DimPrawn View Post^ This. No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.Comment

If you are in the UK going for a UK-based role, then someone from an agency in a country far away is probably not so much an agent finding you a contract, as a parasite inserting himself in the chain, to your cost.Comment
