    the Greeks are still not happy as they think some of those in the EU - especially Germany are taking the piss and belittling them.

      When the banks all bought a stake in toxic loans and brought the financial world to its knees, everyone blamed the banks and said we should have let them go to the wall.

      Everyone including Greece and the EU knew that Greece did not measure up financially to the conditions for Euro entry but they were allowed to join and the cracks papered over. Everyone knew that Greece would never in a million years shape up so that they could pay back the loans they were afforded but they were still loaned the money anyway. And they are still loaning more!!!!!

      No wonder no one understands all this. If I printed money and loaned it to people, I would be in jail for counterfeiting.
