Best learn a language cd?

I bought the course from frenchclasses.com, and that was really good. Listened to it a zillion times over in the car. But I only did Intermediate and Advanced (which isn't that advanced); can't comment how good the beginners one is.
I've also got germanpod101 all downloaded as MP3, and had that in the car too. That was also very good.
I probably should try to get back into this.Will work inside IR35. Or for food. -

Michel Thomas is good as it is just meant to be learnt by speaking.

Assimil. There is no English on the cd so its full immersion. About 100 short lessons but at the end you are pretty proficient. You'll need the book too.Comment

I prefer to study grammar etc and memorise tables, then immersion in the country. Slowly then for me it starts to come together.Comment
