I use a fitbit and do an average of 11k steps, 30 flights of stairs and 120 minutes of activity. The iPhone app is not as reliable as the watch/band based ones.
Everyones target should be at least 10k steps as this means you can drink 3 pints of an evening and they don't count.Comment

I use my Moto 360 and HTC One M9.....with Google Fit. Generally get between 8-11k per day, faffing around, but just had a week in EuroDisney with the 'lids and did 40,715 on wed 27th, 31,342 on Thu 28th - yikes! I reckon I can have a few days lying down, now.....latest-and-greatest solution (TM) kevpuk 2013Comment

Wow, didn't know this existed. Nice find! I walk an hour each way to work every day so I did 22,000 steps today and my average is 16,000 with the weekends taking it down. Interesting!Comment

Similar thing on Galaxy S5.
8000 per day for me (About 3.5 miles apparently). Car to train, train to client, back to train, back to car.
My record appears to be 24000 steps. This was a day in Disney World Florida last september. Bloody knackered I was - about 10 miles or so......
Mrs (whos disabled) did about 4 steps from car to ECV etc. Which reminds me to rent one with a ramp and a big enough car that I can just drive it into the back of this year. Seemed like a good idea to rent a smaller car and a smaller ECV last year - the one that comes apart. Even lugging the 40lb or so pieces into the back of the car every time in 95F heat was a bit of a killer....Rhyddid i lofnod psychocandy!!!!Comment
