You think that a bouncing cheque is worse than saying that you'll personally put a bullet between the eyes of the prime minister?

Yes but if they're that bad, they should've been caught before they ever got to stand or at least been thoroughly investigated in the recent months. We shouldn't have to wait for them to act in this way before someone does something.

              DISCLAIMER - I'm not a UKIP supporter.

This chap was a Tory party memeber for 20+ years.
              Labour have Jenner.
              LibDems have there own ghosts.

They are all idiots, it just seems that either the UKIP ones are more stupid and get caught easier and/or there is a media agenda against them.

The difference is Balls has actually bounced the cheque whereas the other is merely a threat. as they say actions speak louder than words. If Balls becomes chancellor there is little reason to presume he wont continue to bounce cheques . the next one will probably be to the IMF

This story makes me think of a quote from Father Ted:

Naimh Connely: I hope it's not some hideaway for paedophile priests, that whole thing disgusted me.
Ted: Niamh, we're not all like that. Say there's 200 million priests and 5% of them are paedophiles. That's still only ten million.

He would have contributed considerably more to society if he had been digging up potatoes. Instead he "worked" within the public service bureaucracy contributing nothing of any use.
