Yeah I don't get that either. From what I can gather they'd only just taken off and must've known roughly how long the flight was supposed to take, not to mention that they were crossing a mountain range, and nobody notices they start descending at quite a decent rate until the very end?Originally posted by suityou01 View PostReally surprised there wasn't more commotion from the passengers sooner.
Even aside from seeing the captain locked out of the cockpit and trying to get back in, I'd notice straight away if we started to descend and would definitely thing it was weird that early into the flight. Not that it would have made any difference in this case but it does seem a bit strange I agree.Comment

A co-pilot went rogue and it was a terrible tragedy? or
An elderly Airbus (possibly the eldest in service across European skies) develops a catastrophic fault?Knock first as I might be balancing my chakras.Comment

According to data recorder, the passengers started screaming about 4 minutes from end.
But what does a passenger do apart from sitting terrified in his seat and hoping its all a nightmare and they will be okay.Vote Corbyn ! Save this country !Comment

i'm sure some would have reacted that way and froze, but i'm sure an reasonable number would have tried to charge that cockpit door and try to kick it in regardless of how possible that may have beenOriginally posted by fullyautomatix View PostAccording to data recorder, the passengers started screaming about 4 minutes from end.

did the pilot make any appeal for help to the passengers once he realised what the co-pilot was doing and couldn't talk him out of itComment

Get behind Suity and give him a massive shove towards the door. It's not going to stand up to that type of extreme weight.Originally posted by fullyautomatix View PostAccording to data recorder, the passengers started screaming about 4 minutes from end.
