I agree. I'm delighted it's been extended. I've never had to work away from home... yet. So, I'm very lucky in that regard.

I did a calculation once that if the cost of a packed lunch is less than 80% of the cost of buying lunch (i.e. what the business has spent on it after deducting tax), then even after taking into account the difference in Corp Tax and shopping for ingredients, you're better off taking your own lunch.

But I may not have factored everything in, so I'm happy to be proved wrong here!

You haven't factored in extreme laziness and that I didn't take packed lunches when I was permie, so I'm not starting now.
