Don't these Germans know trains are supposed to stay on dry land?! And not roll onto ferries.

In Hamburg for 10 days or so with a client. I decide to take a trip to Copenhagen for the weekend. The ICE train leaves the land and rolls onto a ferry next to the cars and lorries on a special track for a 45 minute crossing to Denmark. To look out of your train window as you're boarding a ship is to say the least, weird if not cool."Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience". What do you expect - it was a German train. Not a decent English one.
Germans only ever put effort into trying to Annexing other countries. Just as well they are rubbish at it.
So far the greeks are letting thenm win - hopefully they will grow some soon.Comment

The Rome to Palermo \ Siracusa train does the same across the Strait of Messina.
They are relatively common.Comment
