Certification Spotlight: PMP or ITIL Expert? - The ITSM Review

I agree with the conclusion (even though I have ITIL Expert and COBIT Certs).

I won't be going for the next version of ITIL qualifications (appearing in the next couple of years and having an expiration date ala Prince 2).

The expiration date is a right PITA, I'm still in two minds as to whether I should bother to recertify for PII

I don't wanna be a PM I know that for sure, maybe later in my career but not yet, most of that article makes sense but from a contracting view Service Transition is still a solid route for me to change things up a little.
