Because HSBC has been showing people how to be legally tax efficient and have been getting hammered for it.

So a large portion of the bankroll of the Labour party can't be seen to be doing the same thing that Labour are calling foul towards large portions of the Tory party and their bankroll

But the people Labour named were not tax evasive, they have been mudding the waters as usual between evasion and efficiency.

So now being tax efficient is a dirty term thus the removal of these terms from UNITE's website.

The problem is that Labour are now hammering anyone who practices tax avoidance, not just tax evasion.

Forgetting that most people do it in one way or another, such as having a contributary pension, buying an ISA.

And this thread illustrates that Labour's voters are no exception, and their paymasters who practice it are embarrassed to admit it. Bloody hypocrits.

Labour chap on the radio yesterday says that the ISA argument is invalid, ISAs aren't tax avoidance because tax isn't charged on them.
